Troy Edmondson

After completing his Bachelor of Science in 1985, Troy gave four years of service in the Queensland Police Force before being offered a position in MLC’s graduate program. The following decade saw Troy complete the Diploma of Life Insurance and tackle BDM roles at MLC, FAI Life and AIBA Life (now AON).

In 1999, Troy started Edmondson Financial Resources, later rebranding and as the firm moved towards the servicing of business clients, it was renamed as Business & Estate Planning Services. The firm excelled and Troy was named Australian Risk Advisor of the Year by Professional Investment Services in 2003, 2004, 2006 & 2007. Troy was also honoured by the Association of Financial Advisors when he was named AFA Adviser of the Year in 2006.

As an influential speaker in forums such as the FPA National Conference and a highly successful and much awarded businessman, Troy has been an inspiration to others in Australia’s risk insurance industry.

Wayne Tyley

Wayne Tyley has over 35 years experience in the life insurance and financial services industry. He founded Verified Financial Planning in 1978, later selling to IOOF Friendly Society in 1986 and taking on the role of Queensland State Manager until 1998.

In 1998 AMP approached Wayne to run their Adviser Services division in Queensland where he stayed until 2004. It was at this time that Wayne was presented with the opportunity to join Troy Edmondson and buy into Business & Estate Planning Specialists,

Wayne has been instrumental in further developing and expanding Business & Estate Planning Specialists network of accountant and other professional referrers.
